Cameron slides out of his climate commitments

The European Union’s president, Herman Van Rompuy, describes as a “disaster” the latest hollow panomime of global climate change negotiations in Mexico. He actually says he is glad he steered clear of the Copenhagen summit.
Meanwhile David Cameron, the UK’s own latter day, Shackleton, Captain Oates, and Captain Scott has declared that he might be gone for a while when asked if he was available to engage in the global debate on climate change.
